Owner Larry Bacon has been in the auto repair industry since 1976! Starting out as a parts driver and counterman for a Marin County independent parts retailer, Larry soon realized his true passion was in Auto Diagnostics, Service, and Repair. He was involved with on the job training, evening study programs and eventually attended the Automobile Technical Program at College of Marin's Indian Valley Campus. Larry studied under Auto Tech Chair, Bob White, an award winning instructor who has developed a lifelong association with Indian Valley College and has continued to help Larry stay current and on top of the industry. Larry has worked for UPS, Ford and Chevrolet in his career and opened Bacon’s Auto Service in 1993 right here in Downtown Novato.

An ASE Certified Tech as well as a California Smog Technician, Larry and his staff bring many years of experience to assist in your vehicle service and repair needs.
